The Australian Sustainable Built Environment Council (ASBEC) is the peak body of key organisations committed to a sustainable built environment in Australia.
ASBEC’s membership consists of industry and professional associations, non-government organisations and government observers who are involved in the planning, design, delivery and operation of our built environment, and are concerned with the social and environmental impacts of this sector.
ASBEC provides a forum for diverse groups involved in the built environment to gather, find common ground and intelligently discuss contentious issues as well as advocate their own sustainability products, policies and initiatives.

The Australian Chamber is Australia’s largest and most representative business network. Our members are state and territory chambers of commerce, national industry associations and a council of business leaders from individual enterprises. Together, we represent Australian businesses of all shapes and sizes, across all sectors of the economy, and from every corner of our country.

ICANZ is a Board member of BPIC. The Building Products Industry Council (BPIC) is the national body representing Australia’s building product associations. BPIC’s mission is to promote the most efficient and innovative use of building products to Government and regulators.
With the help of our members BPIC can ensure that regulatory impacts, standards and regulations are based on practical industry information.

The Energy Efficiency Council is a not-for-profit membership association for businesses, universities, governments and NGOs. The Council’s members are diverse, but are united by a common cause: building a sophisticated market for energy management products and services that delivers:
– Healthy, comfortable buildings;
– Productive, competitive businesses; and
– An affordable, reliable and sustainable energy system for Australia.

The Australian Insulation Industry Coalition (AIIC) is a collective of insulation trade associations, each representing different product types and installation services, that is currently working in partnership with the Energy Efficiency Council (EEC) to develop a pathway for the insulation industry to retrofit Australian buildings with a higher level of energy efficiency and indoor comfort.
